Changing the needle
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the sewing machine may result in injury.
− Make sure to turn off and unplug the sewing machine from the
power outlet.
− Remove the batteries from the sewing machine before replac-
ing the needle.
• Sewing machine needles are available in different sizes. Small
needles are suitable for fine/delicate fabrics and large needles for
heavy fabrics. The supplied needles are suitable for average fabric
thicknesses. If you wish to sew with very stiff or fine fabric, you
should buy a sewing machine needle suitable for the fabric and
use it.
• The needle must always be straight and sharp for smooth sewing.
Replace the needle if it is bent, blunt or broken.
