Winding a bobbin
If the thread on a bobbin

has been completely used or if you want to use another
type of thread, the bobbins can be quickly and easily wound using the sewing machine.

1. Extend the spool pin

all the way out and place a spool of thread on it (see
Fig. 1
).

2. Take an empty bobbin

and pull the thread through one of the small holes
from the inside out. Leave approx. 4" (10 cm) of thread hanging out (see
Fig. 2
).

3. Activate the bobbin winder

on the handwheel

by simultaneously pressing
on the bobbin winder and turning the handwheel counterclockwise (see
Fig. 3
).
