The SCP/DCP-122 offers the capability of enabling the watchdog timer immediately following
reset without the need for software programming or initialization. This mode of operation is

selected by leaving E9-E10 open. The watchdog timer will generate a card reset if left to
expire.

With the E9-E10 jumper installed, the watchdog timer is disabled following power-up reset;
however, it can be enabled by application software.
