5.5.2 Changing a Single Spoke on the Front Wheel [Slotted Hub]

Preparatory Steps

Link

Dismount the wheel.

Dismount the tire and if necessary the tube and the rim tape.

Clean the wheel and check for damages.

Loosen the spoke.

Take off the adapter by hand.

Slide the spoke with the nipple out of the rim.

Take the other end of the spoke out of the hub.

Put on a new spoke.
