the 8

way dipswitch on the IND055 determines the scrolling value (0 to F) for an indicator

floor change, which can be modified by using dipswitches 1 to 4 to give the speeds below:

There is an 8

-

way dipswitch on the IND055 next to the reprogrammable inputs; it has various different

functions that are described below:

Slowest Scrolling Speed

If scrolling car direction arrows are required turn dipswitch 8 on. The active scrolling value setting from 1 to 15

will then apply to arrows also.

Dipswitch 5 selects the test mode, with the letters

Tst

”

replacing the Floor Input type.  During test mode the

floor trigger delay is fixed at 0 seconds to announce the current floor.

Car Mode

(dipswitch 5 on, dipswitch 6 off): The test mode will run up & down the programmed floors to the

maximum floor value set by the user, floor positions and car directions being shown on the LCD display. After

every 4th floor change an allocated programmed message will scroll twice and then proceed to the next floor

position. If a Digitalker

®

speech unit is connected it will announce the relevant pre

-

programmed floor and

message speech codes.  Thus floor designations, Indicators, and Digitalker

®

 speech units can be tested

without using any input signals.

Hall Lantern Mode

(dipswitch 5 & 6 on):  Whilst in test mode, turning on dipswitch 6 allows the hall lantern

functionality of an indicator to be tested.  The car direction signal is taken away at every floor and an

appropriate hall lantern arrow will be set, allowing gongs and hall lanterns to be tested individually for each

floor.

(0 = OFF, 1 = ON)

To disable the energy saving mode (normally active when OFF)  for  indicators, gongs, hall lanterns &

Digitalker

®

speech units that have this feature set dipswitch 7=ON.
