Do not plaster-over the fl anges (fi tting frame), since:
- the heat from the appliance may cause cracks;
- it will no longer be possible to remove/install the glass
sheet;
- the plaster may damage the paint of the appliance.
Where plastering is done, dry-out the chimney breast
for at least 6 weeks before using the heating element, in
order to ensure that cracks are prevented.
7. Installing and removing the front glass sheet
Only the installer may remove the effect glass
sheet – the second glass sheet – for service ope-
rations!
Attention: the glass may be sharp and cause injury;
you are therefore advised to take appropriate
measures for the same
While installing and removing the glass sheet, ensure that
the appliance and the glass sheet are not damaged!
The component numbers contained in the description of
this appliance are explained in the Annex along with an
image of the specifi ed article.
7.1 Removing the glass sheet
1. Remove the air inlet profi le (

2. Remove the left (

) and the right (

) decorative profi le
by pushing it toward the centre from the bottom (
see
situation

), and then letting the top move downwards.
The sheet is only blocked at the top against forward move-
ment, and the bottom rests on two support strips
(
see Fig. F
).
Lift the glass sheet (

) off the top support strips (

);
3. Pull the bottom forwards slightly and lower the glass
sheet carefully onto the bottom support strips
(

);
4. The glass sheet may now be held at the top with both
hands;
5. Now carefully remove the glass sheet (4) out of the
fi tting frame (7 – Fig. G) (make sure you do not damage
the
frame!);
7.2 Installing the glass sheet
6. Hold the glass sheet (4) with both hands at the top;
7. Carefully pass the glass sheet into the fi tting frame (7)
(make sure you do not damage the fi tting frame!);
8. Rest the bottom of the glass sheet on the bottom
support strips (6);
9. Tilt the glass sheet slightly inward and rest the top edge
against the left fi eld A and the right fi eld B (fi gure F);
10. Lift the bottom of the glass sheet off the bottom
