4-2-3 Boost function
1) No. 22 Boost Mode (boost mode selection)
One of the following modes can be selected according to the load characteristics.
[1] Manual: Manual boost
For the characcteristics, see 4-17 (torque
boost setting) and 4-1-10(V/F pattern
selection)
[2] Auto:
Auto boost
Auto boost is validated when code No. 13 (V/F
pattern selection) is set to V/F constant character-
istics or V/F square law reduction characteristics.
The boost quantity is automatically controlled
based on the motor current and motor internal
constants. See Figure 11 for the auto boost
characteristics.
4-2-4 Bend function
The V/F constant characteristics can be changed to the 2-stage bend according to the motor and load. The bend
point voltage and bend point frequency are set as % of the ratings.
1) No. 23
Bend-Point.V
(bend point voltage)
The bend point voltage is set as % of the rated
output voltage.
2) No. 24
Bend-Point.F
(bend point frequency)
The inclination of the V/F constant characteristics
when starting the inverter can be increased or
decreased according to the load.
4-2-5 Torque limit function
1) No. 25
Lim.Torq.SW (torque limit switch)
Whether the torque limit is provided can be selected in each operation area.
The torque limit can be selected from among the following
according to the load.
(1) P-off, B-off
The torque limit is not provided for both the power
side and braking side.
(2) P-on, B-off
The torque limit is provided only for the power side.
(3) P-off, B-on
The torque limit is provided only for the braking
side.
(4) P-on, B-on
The torque limit is provided for both the power
and braking side.
