Vigor2862 Series User’s Guide

Password Strength

Display the security strength of the password specified
above.

Set to Factory Default

Click to return to the factory default setting.

When you click OK, the login window will appear. Please use the new password to access into

the web user interface again. Below shows an example for accessing into User Operation with
User Password.

Open System Maintenance>>User Password.

Check the box of Enable User Mode for simple web configuration to enable user mode

operation. Type a new password in the field of New Password and click OK.

The following screen will appear. Simply click OK.

Log out Vigor router web user interface by clicking the Logout button.

The following window will be open to ask for username and password. Type the new user

password in the filed of Password and click Login.
