Instructions for use Movita

21

Operation

Keyswitch

The Movita lift ceiling supply unit is set up for
operation with the following Dräger devices if they
are equipped with the keyswitch shown below:

– Perseus anesthesia workstation

– Other Dräger devices, e.g., Primus anesthesia

workstation or Mova Cart lift equipment cart

On the media column there is a keyswitch which
can be set to the following positions:

A

Operation of Perseus



Make sure that the keyswitch on the ceiling
supply unit is in position (A). Contact service
personnel if necessary.

B

Docking and undocking of Perseus



This switch position may only be used by
service personnel when docking or undocking
Perseus. Operation in this switch position is
neither possible nor permissible, as safety
functions of the ceiling supply unit are switched
off in this position.

C

Docking, undocking, and operation of other
Dräger devices, e.g., Primus or Mova Cart lift



Docking, undocking, and operation of Perseus
are neither possible nor permissible in this
switch position as the Perseus safety sensor is
not operational in this position.

Docking Perseus to the ceiling supply
unit

Only service personnel may dock Perseus to the
ceiling supply unit or undock it. When docking or
undocking, follow the instructions for use of the
ceiling supply unit, the instructions for use of
Perseus, and the associated supplements.

WARNING
Risk of personal injury or damage to the
device

Safety functions of the ceiling supply unit can
be temporarily disabled with the keyswitch
key.

After the device has been docked or undocked
by service personnel, make sure that the key
is not left in the keyswitch but instead is kept
in a secure place.
