Assembling the O
2
sensor

Check that the O
2
sensor capsule (A) is
correctly positioned in the O
2
sensor (B). The
ring-shaped conductors must touch the
contacts in the O
2
sensor. If necessary, use a
new O
2
sensor capsule.

Screw the screw cap (C) onto the O
2
sensor.

Insert the O
2
sensor into the inspiratory valve.
Connecting the sensors and the measuring
lines
The sensors and measuring lines must be
connected in accordance with the descriptions in
the instructions for use.

Attach the following cables and lines to the
corresponding connectors on the compact
breathing system:
– Pressure measuring line (A)
– Flow sensor cable (B)
– PEEP/PMAX hose (C)
– APL bypass hose (D)
– O
2
sensor cable with O
2
sensor (E)
