Reprocessing procedures
Steam sterilization
The following components can be steam sterilized:
– Compact breathing system (prepared)
– Expiratory valve, inspiratory valve
– Exhaust port
– Absorber container
– Absorber insert
– Ventilator lid
– Piston diaphragm
– Ventilator hose
– Screw cap for O
2
sensor housing
Procedure:

Sterilize the components (maximum 134 °C
(273.2 °F), 5 min).

Check the components for visible damage and
replace if necessary.
