The models of the DIABLO MED are certified by ITALCERT Notified Body (No. 0426 )
in accordance with European Directive 96/98/CEE and subsequent amendments
(Model B) for Marine Equipment, are subject to the procedures provided by the
modules B and D of the European Directives 96/98/CEE (Maritime Equipment -
MED) and 97/23/EC (Pressure Equipment - PED).
The DIABLO INDUSTRIAL “Ex”, DIABLO ADVANCED “Ex”, DIABLO PIZ “Ex” models
conform to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and relevant harmonized standards. The
Notified Body EUROFINS TECH s.r.l. (No. 0477 ) – via Cuorgnè 21 – 00156 Turin –
Italy - issued the certificate, authorized the CE marking and carries out controls on
production according to Article 10 par. 1 of the European Directive 94/9/EC. The
certification was achieved using the masks of the line SEKUR: SFERA SP/A “Ex” and
C607 SP/A “Ex” both in rubber and silicone versions, complying with EN 136:98.
SCBAs combined with IDEA SP/A, both in EPDM and silicon version, are certified as
SCBA and mask singularly.
