General information and warnings

D.P.I. s.r.l. although putting every possible care in the preparation of this manual is

not responsible for misunderstandings arising from different interpretations of the

text, printing errors or inaccuracies. These instructions are for the use for which

the DIABLO apparatuses have been designed and allow you to prevent possible

hazards from improper use. It is important that this manual is read by all persons

responsible for the use or maintenance of the breathing apparatus. The SCBA will

provide the claimed performance only if they are used correctly and will receive

maintenance in accordance with the instructions in this manual. The manufacturer

assumes no responsibility for the consequences of improper use, tampering of the

unit, use of non-original parts or servicing not performed by the D.P.I. s.r.l. or

specifically trained and authorized by D.P.I. s.r.l..

Use SCBA with the full knowledge and respect of the contents of this manual, as

well as an appropriate practical training.

DIABLO SCBA are supplied with pressure reducer and the warning whistle sealed

as components subject to calibration.

Note:

broken seals will void the warranty and voids all responsibility of the

manufacturer if the operation is not performed correctly by authorized personnel

and the component is not resealed.

The serial number is permanently imprinted on the following elements:

•

pressure reducer,

•

heat shield of the mask,

•

demand valve,

•

backpack (if any),

•

test report attached to this manual.

Attention

: all the instructions contained in a box with the logo Ex reported to the side,

are inherent in the risk of an explosion and apply to all assemblies produced by D.P.I.

s.r.l., to operate in the presence of explosive atmospheres (Check if the "Ex" symbol is

present on the marking of the equipment).

Failure to comply with the conditions imposed can lead to serious risks to people's

health and can damage property present in the vicinity of the equipment described in

this manual

Field of application

DIABLO series SCBA completely isolate the operator from the surrounding

environment from the respiratory point of view and therefore represent the safest

protective device to proceed for rescue, emergency, working, maintenance in

environments contaminated or oxygen deficient.

The following table shows the DIABLO series models with their respective

classifications.
