Input/output connections

Connections to external equipment and accessories are made via the industrial interface
board, which consists of dedicated terminal connectors.

Several types of signals can be utilized, including:

Input/Output signals for synchronization with the production line - start print (TOP),

tachometer (TACHY), reverse message (INVMES), etc.,

Serial links for external control of the printer (RS232 / RS422 interface),

Alarm/fault outputs (dry contact relays),

Audible alarm output,

Message selection signals on parallel interface,

Additional photocell input,

Counter increment input,

Counter initialization input,

Others.

Auxiliary connections

The wiring for the signals can either be connected on:

The industrial interface board terminal (

) with wires entering via the IP65 sealed

cable gland(s) (

). Open the cabinet covers to access the board.

or, as an option for certain signals, on IP 65 DB-25 parallel connector (

The glands and the connectors are located at the back of the printer.
