Introduction and Safety
OPERATION

Do not use the dispenser for other than the intended use.
D
The dispenser is intended for in
−
door operation only.
D
Do not place the dispenser too close to a sink (wet) or cooking device (hot).
D
The liquids delivered by the dispenser are hot.
D
Keep hands and body parts clear from the delivery area while the dispenser is producing the
hot beverage.
D
Keep children away from the dispenser.
D
Please allow the internal boiler to cool off before you relocate or move the dispenser
(recommended waiting time is 3 hours).
D
If you do not use the dispenser for 8
−
48 hours:
1. Use the power button to set the dispenser in stand
−
by mode.
2. Close the water supply.
D
If you plan to stop using the dispenser for a longer period of time:
1. Remove all ingredients from the dispenser.
2. Clean and flush the dispenser.
3. Disconnect the power cord.
4. Close or disconnect the power supply.
5. Allow the water inside the dispenser boiler to cool down.
6. Drain the dispenser before you move the dispenser to another location.

Always connect to a source of filtered drinking water and/or use filtered drinking water to
(re)fill the water tank. Particularly at locations with poor water quality filtered water is highly
recommended or may even be required.
D
Observe the indicated water pressure when a dispenser with a fixed water connection is
installed.
D
The drip tray capacity is limited to 500 ml/27 fl oz. (3
~
4 cups).
Empty the drip tray in case the beverage has been delivered while no cup or pot was present.
D
The customer should clean the dispenser on a daily and weekly basis as described in the
operator manual for hygienic and functional reasons.
D
Always observe basic hygiene and use only food
−
grade cleaning agents.
D
Clean the dispenser parts with a clean damp cloth. Never make the dispenser wet by
sprinkling or spraying.
D
Always keep the dispenser upright when moving.
D
The power supply should not be interrupted completely, because the cooling system will not
function.
D
Do not store the dispenser at locations with a surrounding temperature below 0

C/34

F.
ELECTRICITY
D
Never plug a power cord into a wall outlet (or unplug a power cord) when either part is wet or
either part is touched with wet hands.
D
Never disable the safety mechanisms / systems.
D
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power cord or plug.
D
Always connect the dispenser to electric power supply in accordance with local regulations.
D
Always connect the dispenser to a properly fused electric circuit.
When the dispenser has been relocated, make sure that the dispenser does not overload the
capacity of the electrical circuit when plugged in.
Observe the local regulations!
D
Do not connect the dispenser to any power source other than indicated on the rating label.
D
Never immerse power cord or the dispenser in water or any other liquid.
