5.1.2 Water Supply
The Cafitesse 60 dispenser exists in two versions:
D Dispenser with water tank
D Dispenser with fixed water supply
5.1.2.1 Dispenser with water tank
The dispenser with a cold water tank is equipped with:
D a removable 2.9 liters / 98.1 fl oz. reservoir (Fig.17 a.)
D an automatic water lock (Fig.18 ) to avoid spills when the tank is removed from the dispenser
D a float (Fig.19 a.) that interacts with a reed switch (Fig.19 b.) inside the dispenser to detect whether
the reservoir is empty or not available.

5.1.2.2 Dispenser with fixed water supply
The dispenser for fixed water supply can be connected to a water tap according to the instructions
described in section 2.2.5.1.
5.1.3 Inlet valve
At the dispenser − side an electromagnetic inlet valve (Fig.17 d.) will control the water flow into the dispenser.
The type of inlet valve (Fig.17 d.) differs per dispenser version.
D Dispensers with water tank have a valve that is driven by gravitation.
D Dispensers with fixed water supply have a valve that is driven by water pressure. This requires a
minimal water pressure (see section 2.1 Installation requirments) to allow the valve to operate properly.
Operation of the inlet valve is similar for both dispenser versions:
D It opens when water is needed, and
D it closes when there is sufficient water in the dispenser.
