Operating Controls

19. Engine Warning Light

If a defect is present in the engine system, and it is
recognized by the ECU and cause a malfunction in
operation, it can be displayed with the engine warning
light to indicate a warning to the operator. If this Light
turns "ON" or "blinking," check the engine as described
under the engine diagnostic switch (See page 2-37).

Light turned "ON": nonfatal system error

•

Light is "BLINKING": fatal system error

NOTE:

The engine warning light flashes out the two
digit fault code in the diagnostic mode.
