Note (1): Coplanar waveguide modes are dominant in this configuration. Thus thickness of
substrate can be changed with the given limits.
3.4.2
Meandered PCB antenna
TCM 515Z has been certified for use with a meandered PCB antenna provided that the fol-
lowing layout guidelines are met:
Matching circuit values of the modular approval may not be changed
Shape according to reference layout in Figure 6
Minimum GND plane: 40 mm x 18 mm
Connect GND planes using multiple via as shown in Figure 6
Minimum distance space: 10 mm
Matching circuit components as specified in Table 4
