2.3.  Design 

2.3.1.  Base Platform 

The  container  consists  of  a  base  platform,  a  separate  cargo  compartment  and  an  equipment 
compartment.  The  base  pallet  is  adapted  to  fit  the  container  in  a  suitable  locking  system  in  the 
aircraft cargo compartment 

2.3.2.  Cargo Compartment 

The  cargo compartment  of  the  RAP Opticooler  has a  capacity  of  5  europallets  or  4  CP -1  pallets. 
The RKN Opticooler has a capacity of 1 europallet or 1 CP-1 pallet. Several attachment points are 
available at each sidewall to secure the cargo.
