The loaded container should only be moved on roller beds.  

A loaded unit should not be lifted with a forklift. This may result in damages to the container and to 
the goods. 

4.5. Cleaning 

The container shall be cleaned inside and outside with a damp cloth and wa rm water only. Do not 
use any cleaning agent. 

Labels shall be removed carefully by hand or with a soft plastic or wooden spatula to avoid scratches 
on the finish. Do not use sharp tools like knifes, screwdrivers etc. Do not use any cleaning agent.  

4.6.  Storage of the Container 

4.6.1.  General 

The container must be stored on wooden beams, storage racks or on roller beds. The ground must 
be solid and free from stones or other objects underneath the container. In addition, the footprint 
must be approved for the max. container weight. 

The storing  place must  not  be  flooded  by  rain  or  water. The container must be  stored  so  that  no 
sand,  dust  or  other  small  particles  can  get  into  the  fans.  Nothing  must  be  placed  on  top  of  the 
container. 

 
 
 

If the ground is not bearing there is a risk of injury/death of persons.

A flooding of the storage place may lead to water ingress into the container, risk of goods loss.  

 
 
 

The floor must be level and flat, no objects, such as wood and metal parts, stones greater than 5 
mm or others, may be underneath the container that could damage the bottom of the container. 

4.6.2.  Storage of an Empty Container

Switch the container off for storage. 

- 

Container  shall  be  stored  in  a  warehouse,  ideally  at  room  temperature,  but  in  any  case 
between -30°C (-22°F) and +50° (122°F). 

- 

Charge the container at least every two weeks.
