and pendulum amplitude. For example, when you process metals or make a curvilinear
cut with a small radius.
•
When you saw thick or long wood workpieces or saw thick timber along straight line
(> 40 mm), cutting line can be not so accurate. In such cases, for accurate cutting, we
recommend to use a circular saw.
It is prohibited to:
1. To operate and store the electric tool in premises with explosive or chemically aggressive
medium, corroding metals and insulation;
2. To operate the electric tool when drops or splashes fall on it; in the open when it rains or snows;
3. To leave plugged electric tool unsupervised;
4. To operate the tool standing on an accommodation ladder;
5. To operate the machine if at least one of the following failures takes place:
•
Damage of receptacle plug or power supply cord;
•
Failure of switch or its improper operation;
•
Brushes sparkling on a collector accompanied with a ring fire on its surface.
•
Grease leakage from gear unit.
•
Decrease of rotation speed to abnormal level.
•
Motor body overheating.
•
Smoke or smell characteristic for insulation ignition.
•
Breakage or cracks in body parts or additional handle.
•
Replaceable tool damage or blunting.
Keep the product in a good repair. In case of failure or when smell appeared
typical of burnt insulation, loud knocks, noise, sparks, you shall immediately stop
works and call to service centre.
This Manual does not cover all situations that can occur during real conditions of
jig saw operation. Therefore, you must keep common sense and be very attentive
and careful during the operation of this machine.
7. JIG SAW OPERATION
First use
1. Unpack the electric tool and visually insect its scope of supply for absence of external
mechanical damage.
2. Attention! If during transportation ambient temperature was lower than +5°C, before
further operations it is necessary to leave the electric tool in a room with the temperature
from +5° to +35°С and relative humidity not exceeding 80% for at least four hours.
In case condensate created on parts and assemblies of the product, its operation or
further preparation for operation is prohibited until the condensate completely dries.
3. Install and secure the replacement tools properly.
4. Switch on the jig saw and let it work idle for about three minutes.
5. Attention! You may observe increased sparking of brushes for some time, because
