If you work outdoors, use extension cords. In such a case use only the extension cords
intended for works outdoor. They have relevant marking. Extension cords shall be reeled
out for their full length.

•

Do not operate electric tool if you are tired, under medications which include narcotic
substances or medications which can cause sleepiness as well as alcohol or any other
substances and products decreasing attention and concentration.

•

Fix the workpiece securely: use a vice or clamp if necessary; do not vice the electric tool itself.

•

Check the damaged parts. Before operating the electric tool, it is necessary to carefully
check all the parts and connections for damage and make sure that they are in a proper
condition and functionality. Check if movable parts are reliably fixed. Do not operate the
tool with defective «On/Off» switch. Damaged parts shall be replaced at the Dnipro-M
service centre.

In order to prevent injuries, you shall only use the accessories or tools listed in
this Manual or which are recommended by authorised sale points and Dnipro-M
trademark support service.

You shall repair the electric machine only in the authorised service centre with
the use of only original Dnipro-M spare parts. Otherwise serious damage may be
caused to user’s health.

•

If you use an extension cord, the cord cross section area shall be at least 1.5 mm²

•

When the saw is transferred from the cold to a warm room, it is necessary to let it warm
up for at least 2 hours. After that you can connect the machine to the mains.

Special requirements for power jig saws operation

Do not put your hands to cutting area. Do not place your hands under the workpiece.

When one contacts the saw, risk of injury arises.

•

Bring the power tool to the workpiece only when turned on. Otherwise there is a risk of
reactive impact in case the electric tool is jammed in a workpiece.

•

Ensure that support foot was firmly attached to the surface in the process of cutting.
Skewed blade can break off or cause a reactive impact.

•

Upon the operation was finished, switch the power tool off; and pull the blade out of kerf
only after it stops completely. This will secure you from rebound effect, and after that
you may put the power tool away without any risks.

•

Use only intact saws of uncompromising quality. Bent or blunt saws can break, adversely
affect the quality of the cut, or cause a rebound effect.

•

Do not brake saw after you switched it off pressing it sideways. Thus you can damage
saw, break it or cause a rebound effect.

•

Clean saw shank before to fasten it. The contaminated shank cannot be fastened securely.

•

Check that saw is fixed securely. Unfixed saw may fall out and cause injury.

•

Protective bracket on the tool body protects user against accidental contact with the
saw during operation. Do not remove it.

•

Before to saw wood, chipboard panels, building materials etc., inspect them for nails,
screws, etc. availability, and when necessary, remove them.

•

Adjust the power tool according to specific field of application. Reduce stroke frequency
