Roku Set Top Box
A Roku box is an inexpensive (under $100) "Over The Top"
network video player. It is commonly used by consumers to
receive NetFlix, Hulu, and other popular streaming content.
Discover Video has created a unique capability where your Channel videos can appear
on a Roku box in your network. Your videos do not appear on public channels (only
your boxes can receive your content).
This is a convenient and inexpensive way to display live and VoD content in areas
where a full computer is unnecessary or wasteful, such as in classrooms, lecture halls,
medical offices, etc. The Roku box display should not be confused with Digital
Signage which is for unattended operation. Rather, the Roku box allows you to select
the content you wish to view, and provides FF and RW capabilities.
DEVOS supports Roku boxes when a license is added to your system.

Channels that are marked as "Add To Roku" will then appear in the content lineup in
Roku.
For Digital Signage, use the above link to add the Discover Video Digital Signage
Channel.
Note: Do not confuse the DEVOS channel with the public Roku Channel that
Discover Video offers. The public channel allows customers to broadcast their
content to viewers around the world and is available from the Roku store; the
DEVOS channel is only available from the above link.
ROKU DOES NOT SUPPORT WEB BROWSER THERFORE YOU CANNOT USE ROKU
FOR DIGITAL SIGNAGE THAT USES GOOGLE SLIDES OR OTHER WEB TEMPLATES.
This is a consumer device and has limited security.
