This section contains instructions on how users can read the thermostat display, set the

system mode, change the setpoint, and set the fan mode.

Backlight and Button Operation

The thermostat backlight is normally set to turn off after 20 seconds to conserve battery

power. If the backlight is off, the first button press will only turn on the backlight. Once the

backlight is on, the buttons function normally.
