Installation, Configuration, and

Diagnostics

The steps to install the EtherWORKS Turbo PCI board are as follows:

•

Prepare the EtherWORKS Turbo PCI board for installation.

•

Install the EtherWORKS Turbo PCI board into a PCI compatible
computer.

•

Configure your computer for some installations using the BIOS
Setup utility.

•

Run the NICDIAG Diagnostic utility after you install the
EtherWORKS Turbo PCI board.

•

Connect your system to the network.

•

Install the software (see Chapter 3).

The only tool you need is a screwdriver.

Caution

Static electricity can damage electronic components. Use an
antistatic wrist strap while handling the components.
