Power-On Diagnostics

Power-On
Diagnostics

The power-on diagnostics executes automatically whenever
you turn on the DEC 3000 Model 600/600S AXP system. The
power-up self-test runs limited memory testing; it tests the first
eight megabytes of memory, which is where the operating system
is loaded. To test the rest of the memory, you must execute the
memory diagnostics.

Examples

The next example shows a typical power up diagnostics message.
