STAND-BY MODE TIME (0-255)
To protect the GP display screen, the GP is equipped with a screen saver function
that automatically turns the unit's backlight(s) OFF when no operations have
occurred for a period of time. A
"0"
entered in this field causes a normal display,
i.e. the screen is cleared after the GP's standard default time elapses.

This setup determines the start-up time of the GP. Use this setup to adjust the
power up sequence so that the GP starts up after the PLC.
TOUCH BUZZER SOUND
Setup whether or not the GP beeps when pressed.
PASSWORD SETUP(0-9999)
The password setting is used when changing to the Initialize Memory or Initialize
(OFFLINE mode) Screens. The password (
number
) ensures protection of the GP
settings as OFFLINE mode will not be entered inadvertently. Enter the optional
number of your choice. If you do not wish to use this setup, enter the default
0
.

When using the Direct Access or the Memory Link formats, the object address
b9 or +12, respectively. (Only when all items are set within the System Data
Area.)
