(
Line Lock
) The Line Lock solenoid(s) can be
used to hold the vehicle for a burn-out and to assist the
Transbrake solenoid at the starting line. If you want to use
either of the Line Lock features, connect one wire from your
Line Lock solenoid(s) to the S.F.O. terminal. Connect the
other wire from the Line Lock solenoid(s) to a ground.
4)
(Spare Transbrake)
Connect to the Transbrake
solenoid, this is to be used only as a temporary output when
the Trans terminal has been damaged.
Make sure that the S.F.O. mode setting is correct for the
device being used.
Incorrect settings will cause undesirable results.
T. Stop Terminal:
This is the main 4-Stage timer called
Timer 1. This output is connected to a Throttle Stop or some
other device, to be controlled by the 4-Stage timer down
track. Depending on what is being controlled by Timer 1 the
Throttle mode can be set so the output will supply or remove
12 Volts. The Timer output cannot supply ground. One wire
from the device needs to be connected to the T. Stop
terminal and the other wire from the device needs to be
connected to ground.
Note:
If the device to be controlled needs Ground, instead
of +12 Volts, an additional relay will need to be
wired between the Mega 475 and the device page 61.
Shift Terminal:
The Shift
terminal is a dedicated output for
use with a Shift solenoid. The Shift output can be used to
shift the vehicle up to 5 times by either RPM or Time.
Combinations of RPM and time can also be used. If you
want to use the Shift feature, connect one wire from your
Shift solenoid to the Shift terminal. Connect the other wire
