The SSABR G2 is equipped with several built-in security features.  These features give the operator control
over how the SSABR G2 may be used.

The “

Enable Audio Playback

” checkbox determines if local playback is permitted (playback of audio when

headphones are plugged into the SSABR G2).  To prevent local playback, un-check this option.  To allow
local playback, check this option.

The “

Enable Audio Erasing

” checkbox determines if the local erase feature is enabled.  If this feature is

enabled, all the recorded audio on the SSABR G2 can be erased by holding down all the buttons for
approximately five seconds.  To disable this feature, un-check this option.  To allow local erase, check this
option.

The “

Enable LCD Display of Remaining Record Time"

checkbox determines if the remaining record time

is displayed on the SSABR G2 LCD when it is recording.  If this feature is enabled, the estimated record
time available is displayed on the SSABR G2 LCD during a record operation.  If this feature is disabled,
only a blinking dot is displayed to indicate that the unit is recording.  To enable the display of the remaining
time, check this option.  To disable this option, un-check this option.
