CONFIGURATION WINDOW
Clicking the
Configure
button on the Main Window or selecting the
Configure
option in the
Tools
menu will open the
Configuration
Window. This window allows you to set the record mode, edit the
recording schedule, and set the security options.
You will notice a short delay as the CDU software loads the current SSABR G2 settings into the
Configuration
Window. Any changes to the
Configuration
Window will be programmed in the
attached SSABR G2 unit by clicking the
OK
button. To close the
Configuration
Window without
saving the settings in the attached SSABR G2 unit, use the
Cancel
button.

The
Record Mode
tab provides three selections for determining the record configuration. The
Optimize Compression For
radio buttons allow you to select between using the
Best Quality
setting
which uses no compression (straight PCM encoding), the
Best Quality – Extended Record Time
setting which uses the 2:1 lossless DACPak compression algorithm, or the
Best Record Time
setting
which uses a fixed 4:1 lossy compression algorithm.
