SUPPLIED BY DTE. It is sent
from the DTE to start up the
procedure. The command is always
accompanied by the number to be
dialed.

STORED IN THE DCE. It is the
equivalent of the previous request
with the difference that the number
is already present in the DCE
memory. The command is always
accompanied by two figures to
identify the memory area in which
