05 INDIVIDUAL SETTINGS

5.7 Wheelbase extension

Moving the rear wheels backwards increases
the distance between wheels and therefore
also the stability of the wheelchair. Moving the
rear wheels forwards will increase the
manoeuvrability of your wheelchair but make
the chair less stable.

To alter the wheelbase first remove the rear
wheels. Then take off the rear wheel adapter
(two bolts M6) Now rotate the adapter by
180° and reinstall it. Make sure that the bolts
are tightened securely again.

WARNING

Altering the wheelbase means
the locking brakes will have to be
readjusted (see chapter 5.1).
