5.5 Seat height adjustment
The height of the wheelchair’s seat is adjusted
in 4 stages of 30 mm (42, 45, 48, 51 cm). Two
stages of 30 mm are achieved using 2 diffe-
rent holes in the fork. A further stage of 60
mm is achieved by turning the castor. To do
this, the two bolts on the castor bushing first
have to be loosened. The left and right castors
are then exchanged. The height of the rear
wheel is adjusted by using these holes; loosen
the securing bolts to do this. Adjust the rear
wheel adapter to the desired height and tigh-
ten the bolts again.
The corresponding combinations are compri-
sed as follows:
t
Seat height 42 - castor upwards and
upper fork hole
t
Seat height 45 - castor upwards and
lower fork hole
t
Seat height 48 - castor downwards and
upper fork hole
t
Seat height 51 - castor downwards and
lower fork hole
WARNING
A change in the height of the
seat necessitates readjustment of
the brakes (see chapter 5.1).
