SETTING AND STARTING UP of a 2 PUMPS UNIT
WITHOUT FLOW SENSOR
Operation
Procedure

ADDRESS THE
INVERTER
SLAVE
Turn on the drive that works as SLAVE and set the parameter W in the
menu ADV as
W = S1 (slave 1)

PUMP ROTATION
CHECK
(surface pumps)
Start the pump ( key START/STOP ) and check the motor rotation; if it runs
backwards change the parameter
RO in menu BASIC

Go to TEST mode and start the pump (key START/STOP )

Read and record the pressure

Stop the pump (key START/STOP )

Reverse the rotation through the
parameter RO in menu BASIC

Go to TEST mode and start the pump (key START/STOP )

Read and record the pressure
-
Stop the pump (key START/STOP )
-
The right rotation is the one with the higher pressure.

Go to TEST mode, start the pump ( key START/STOP ) and open a tap

Scroll the working parameters by pressing RIGHT ARROW, to parameter
F (frequency)

Increase the frequency up to 45 Hz by pressing the UP ARROW

Close all the taps
-
Scroll the working parameters by pressing RIGHT ARROW, to parameter
PF and record it (e.g. PF 0,44)
-
stop the pump (key START/STOP )
