2.7 I/O Connectors
2.7.1 Game/MIDI Port
The system board is equipped with a 15-pin connector at location
J4 for connecting an external game/MIDI por t. One card-edge
bracket, mounted with serial and game/MIDI por t cables, is provided
with the system board. Install the card-edge bracket to the system
chassis then connect the game/MIDI port cable to connector J4.
Make sure the colored stripe on the ribbon cable is aligned with pin
1 of connector J4.
BIOS Setting
Configure the game port in the Integrated Peripherals submenu
(“Onboard Super I/O Device” field) of the BIOS. Refer to chapter 3
for more information.
