2.6.6 Universal Serial Bus Ports
The system board supports 6 USB ports. USB 1.1 suppor ts 12Mb/
second bandwidth while USB 2.0 suppor ts 480Mb/second
bandwidth providing a marked improvement in device transfer
speeds between your computer and a wide range of simultaneously
accessible external Plug and Play peripherals.
Four onboard USB ports (Black) are at locations CN5 and CN6.
The 10-pin connector (J10) on the system board allows you to
connect 2 additional USB ports. The additional USB ports, which are
mounted on a card-edge bracket, will be provided as an option. If
you wish to use the optional USB ports, install the card-edge
bracket to the system chassis then insert the connector that is
attached to the USB port cables to J10.
BIOS Setting
Enable or disable the onboard USB in the Integrated Peripherals
submenu of the BIOS. Refer to chapter 3 for more information.
