2.3.2 Connectors

2.3.2.1 Connector base board

ORION base board connector

(68-pin amplimite series)

The schematic shows the pin assignment of the input

connector. A standard 68-pin high density female type with

0.05 inch pin distance can be used for the signal connection.
The ±15 V output is able to supply up to 50 mA (2 W). The

supply is protected against short circuits. Overloading this

output may cause an overheating of the DEWE-ORION-0824-

20x and lowers the signal quality. The +5 V output can supply

up to 500 mA.
Pins LRA (LED Red Anode) and LGA (LED Green Anode) can

be used to control directly an antiparallel dual LED for senor

cable break detection. Red indicates short curcuit, green

indicates OK, LED off indicates open curcuit.
