1.4.10 Entering Text

In input lines for text, the numerical keypad automatically switches to the entry of
letters. You can enter the following characters by repeatedly pressing the number
keys:

The input position moves automatically if you pause briefly between your inputs
or if you enter a new character. Pressing and holding a key switches your entry to
lower case mode. The lower case mode remains in effect until you press and hold a
key again. You can move the cursor by using the plus/minus key

. Inputs are

always made to the immediate left of the cursor position. A short press of the C-
key

deletes individual digits/characters, whereas pressing and holding the

key deletes the complete entry (in front of the cursor).

1.4.11 Automatic Exit

MenuCards close automatically under the following conditions:

■

In the idle or connection state, if you receive a call and accept it by lifting the
handset or pressing a key.
