The following applies to the fan speed and the resulting discharge speed:

- at low discharge speed, the air is directed down at a steep angle

- at high discharge speed, the air is directed laterally at a blunt angle

After the fan is switched off, the secondary air grille moves after approx. 240 seconds
to the upper end position.

Secondary air grille calibration

Calibration should be carried out to achieve draught-free air conditioning.

The calibration can be completed using OP50C and OP51C control panels or using
MATRIX.PC service tool.

The draught-free condition depends mainly on the fan speed, medium temperature,
secondary air discharge grille position and the height at which the unit is installed.

If the calibration is performed via control panels, it can only be done in groups. In this
case all units should have the same installation height.

In groups comprising ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted units, a separate calibration
is necessary for each of the two types.

The MATRIX PC servicing tool enables independent calibration of each unit in a group,
irrespectively of whether it is a mixed or circulating air unit.

The medium temperature along with other factors is subjected to seasonal fluctuations.
It is therefore recommended to carry out one calibration in summer and the other in
winter for different operating points.

Please follow these instructions when calibrating:

•

For two and three stage fans please switch into stage 2.

•

With continuous EC motors - please switch into stage 2, or set the speed value
(control panel with display) at 66%.

•

Keep moving the discharge grille in fine-tuning mode until you reach the required
draught-free result.

•

Save the settings.
