Connecting switch unit

The components are connected via a terminal strip, which is located in a plastic termi-
nal box, which is fitted on the left or right side of the basic casing, depending on where 
the coil connections are mounted.

Connect only in accordance with the unit-specific wiring diagram.

NOTE ON SWITCH UNITS

The connection diagrams are supplied with the relevant switch units or interme-
diate terminal box.
For connection use the following control cables:
– control cables depending on unit type and necessary requirements
– thermal contact connection using 0,5 mm² control cable with shielding made 

of aluminium clad sleeve, e.g. J-Y(ST)Y 2x2x0,8.

NOTE ON CONTROLS BY OTHERS! 

Refer to the relevant wiring diagram supplied for the specific unit for precise 
details on how to connect the individual components (fan, frost protection, etc.).
Before you start the connection procedure, check that the order code of the 
unit's electrical equipment matches the wiring diagram.
On 2-speed motors connection shall be carried out in the left rotary field!
