5.2.1. John Pawson for Demeyere
The straight models of the John Pawson for Demeyere range are made of stainless steel
and are manufactured with an InductoSeal® base (see 5.1.2.A.). The conical sauté pans
and frying pans are made of 7-PlyMaterial® up to the edge (see 5.1.2.C.).
This range has double wall lids. The walls are welded, so the part between the walls acts
as an insulator. The advantage is that the lid handle does not become hot and the lid
closes more tightly, keeping the food hot for longer.
The handles are made of cast stainless steel. Note that the side handles can become hot,
so be careful when taking hold of the saucepots.
5.2.2. Atlantis & Demeyere Silver
The straight models of these ranges are made of stainless steel and manufactured with an
InductoSeal® base (see 5.1.2.A.). The conical models consist of 7-PlyMaterial® up to the
edge (see 5.1.2.C.) and have been provided with a closed rim.
The handles are made of solid, cast stainless steel. This minimizes the thermal conductiv-
ity, so they can be held more easily. Be careful near gas cookers ... flames that reach up
from the base along the sides of the pan can heat the handles.
The products of the Demeyere Silver range have also been provided with double wall lids.
5.2.3. Apollo
The straight models in the Apollo range have walls of stainless steel together with an
InductoBase® base (see 5.1.2.B.). All conical models are made up of 7-PlyMaterial® up
to the edge (see 5.1.2.C.).
The design of the moulded handles in the Apollo range makes them ideal to hold. The
long handles remain cool on electric hobs. The short side handles and the lid handles
can become hot.
5.2.4. Industry, 5-Plus & Intense
All products in these ranges are made of 5-ply material to the edge, with a thickness of
3 mm/0.12” (see 5.1.2.D.) and have a pouring rim.
The handles are made of solid, cast stainless steel. Noteworthy in the Industry range is
that the extra-large handles have been bead blasted. These handles are scratch-resistant
and will stay cool for longer, even on gas cookers.
The Demeyere Intense range has also been provided with double wall lids.
5.2.5. Athena
The Athena products are made of stainless steel and have an InductoBase® base (see
5.1.2.B.).
The hollow, stainless steel Athena handles are ergonomic to hold. Note that the handles
can become hot.
5.2.6. Frying pans/skillets
When frying ingredients, it is important that the pan conducts the heat properly, and that the
heat is also well distributed along the sides of the pan. For this reason, Demeyere stainless
steel pans are made of a multi-layered material up to the edge (5 or 7-ply, 5.1.2.C/D.).
Demeyere offers a wide range of stainless steel frying pans, of various thicknesses and dif-
ferent designs. Although the Demeyere frying pan program is structured as a completely
separate category, due to their design and quality some pans are specific to certain ranges:

Obviously this is only a guideline. Depending on what you require from a frying pan/
skillet, there is a wide range to choose from: with or without a non-stick coating, light or
heavy, higher or lower prices. For more information, visit our website at

5.2.7. Specialties
In addition to pots and pans, the Demeyere range also includes a very large number of
specialty items. Each of these specialties has been developed to achieve optimal results
when preparing specific foods.
A. Woks
The Demeyere woks are made of 7-PlyMaterial® (5-ply material for the Intense wok) up
to the edge (see 5.1.2.C/D.) with a thickness of 2.3 mm/0.09” for perfect heat distribu-
tion when stir-frying. The center of the wok is very hot (230°C/450°F) and towards the
