MODULE SETTINGS
Command Description P
MODEM Print the operating status of the GSM/UMTS module. The possible
answers are:

MODEM DISABLED|

the module is disabled

MODEM all function enabled|

All functions are enabled

MODEM Receive only mode|

SMS commands enabled, transmis-
sion of measurement files disabled

MODEM Transmit only mode|

SMS commands disabled, trans-
mission of measurement files enabled

MODEM Cycle OFF-ON in progress|

Off-On cycle of module

MODEM p Sets the mode of operation p for the GSM/UMTS module.
p=A

All functions are enabled (SMS and file transmission)
p=D

Disabled
p=R

SMS commands enabled, file transmission disabled
p=T

SMS commands disabled, file transmission enabled

Turn module on and off

PIN Prints the SIM card PIN

PIN nnnn Sets the SIM card PIN to value nnnn.

APN Prints the name of the network access point.

APN c...c Sets the string c...c as the name of the network access point.

APNUSER Prints the user name for network access.

APNUSER c...c Sets the string c...c as the username to access the network.

APNPASS Prints the password to access the network.

APNPASS c...c Sets the string c...c as the password to access the network.

MODEMRESETTIME hh Perform an off/on cycle of the GSM/UMTS module at hh:55 every day
(e.g., at 23:55 if hh=23). An SMS is sent after module power cycle.

MODEMRESETTIME N Disables the daily off/on cycle of GSM/UMTS module.

Note: if a parameter is not set, the data logger response is "?VOID|".

FTPSERVER Prints the FTP server address.

FTPSERVER c...c Sets the string c...c (max 32 characters) as FTP server address.

FTPPORT Prints the number of FTP server port.

FTPPORT nn Sets the number of FTP server port to value nn.

FTPUSER Prints username for access to FTP server.

FTPUSER c...c Sets the string c...c (max 32 characters) as the username to access
FTP server.

FTPPASSWORD Prints the password to access FTP server.

FTPPASSWORD c...c Sets the string c...c (max 32 characters) as the password to access
FTP server.

FTPDIRECTORY Print the destination folder for the files in the FTP server.

FTPDIRECTORY c...c Sets the string c...c (max 64 characters) as complete path of the
files destination folder in the FTP server.

TESTFTP Checks the FTP transmission. Sends a test file in text format. The test
file can be a user-created file (to copy to the SD card with the name
"ftptst.txt") or, in the absence of the user file, a default file (named
"xftptst.txt") created by the data logger.
Note: if a parameter is not set, the data logger response is "?VOID|".
