V1.2
Command
Description
P
WINDVANEOFFS d
Sets the offset of the vane to the value d (in degrees, resolution 0.1°).
The value is between 0 and 359.9°.
The offset of the vane is the value of the angle between the zero indica-
tor of the vane and the geographic north.

T
IPPING BUCKET RAIN GAUGE SETTINGS
Command
Description
P
BUCKET
Prints the resolution of the rain gauge set.
BUCKET r
Sets the resolution of the rain gauge to the value r (0.050 to 1.599 mm
of water per pulse)
PLUVIOSWITCH
Print the setting of the rain gauge contact: normally open (NormOPEN)
or normally closed (normCLOSED).
PLUVIOSWITCH c
Sets the type of rain gauge contact.
If b = C, the contact is normally closed. If b = O, the contact is normal-
ly open.
RESETPARTIAL
Prints the date and time of the last reset of the partial rainfall counter.
RESETPARTIAL Y
Resets the partial rainfall counter.
RESETTOTAL
Prints the date and time of the last reset of the total rainfall counter.
RESETTOTAL Y
Resets the total and partial rainfall counters.
CORRECTIONTABLE
Prints the correction table of the rainfall quantity according to rainfall
rate.

k
7
k
8
k
9
Sets the correction table of the amount of rain according to the rainfall
rate. The values k
1
...k
9
are the multiplication factors of the nominal res-
olution of the rain gauge at various rates and are expressed in thou-
sandths without the decimal point (e.g., write in 1020 to indicate the
factor 1.020).
k
1
=
multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <2s
k
2
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <3s
k
3
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <4s
k
4
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <5s
k
5
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <6s
k
6
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <8s
k
7
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <10s
k
8
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <15s
k
9
= multiplicative factor if interval between 2 successive pulses <30s
Multiplication factors must be within 800 (=0.800
-20% correction) and
1200 (=1.200
+20% correction). The multiplication factor 1000
(=1.000) indicates no correction (0%).
You must provide all nine values. The command is not executed even if
only one value is outside the acceptable range.
Example: the command "CORRECTIONTABLE 1200 1150 1120 1100
1080 1060 1040 1020 1000" sets the following correction factors:
1.200 (+20%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <2s
1.150 (+15%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <3s
1.120 (+12%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <4s
1.100 (+10%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <5s
1.080 (+8%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <6s
1.060 (+6%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <8s
1.040 (+4%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <10s
1.020 (+2%) if interval between 2 successive pulses <15s
1.000 (0%)
if interval between 2 successive pulses <30s
RAINTOTALS
Prints the total and partial amount of rain, both uncompensated and
compensated according to the correction table, and the instants of
counters reset.
