Using the keyboard

Pairing a keyboard with your tablet

Your tablet and keyboard function via a Bluetooth connection. If you 
order a keyboard along with your tablet, they are already paired when 
you received them. If, however, your tablet and the keyboard are 
unpaired, you must pair them before use.

Pairing your tablet with the keyboard for the first time

1 

Turn on Bluetooth on your tablet. For more information, see 
“Turning on/off Bluetooth“.

2 

Connect your tablet to the keyboard so that the keyboard is 
powered on. For more information, see “Connecting your tablet 
to the keyboard”.

NOTE:

 You may be unable to pair the keyboard with your tablet if 

they are not connected properly.

3 

Your tablet automatically scans for the keyboard and displays a 
pairing request dialog box.

4 

Use the keyboard to enter the pairing passcode that appears on 
the screen and press the Enter key.
