c. Change the state of each offline device by right-clicking it and selecting
Online.
d. Check whether the state of any devices is Not Initialized.
e. Change the state of each device that is not initialized by right-clicking it and
selecting Initialized.
WARNING
Do not change the state of an Initialized device. Contact your
Administrator for support.

Retrieve the device paths in a Windows-based ScaleIO Ready Node server with an
H730p/H740p controller card.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have administrator-level user access to the server.
In Windows servers:

The operating system device path is in the format
PhysicalDrive
X
, where
X is
the disk number.
l
Run the commands from the command prompt.
Procedure
1. Log in to the server.
2. Display the VDs of the disks on the server:
perccli64 /c0/vall show
Output similar to the following is displayed:
The output displays the device groups (DGs) and their associated VD.
