Control panel
A control panel allows you to manually control the inputs to the server.
Your system supports:
•
Left control panel: Contains status LEDs, system ID button, and iDRAC Quick Sync 2 (optional).
•
Right control panel: Contains power button, USB 2.0 port, micro USB for iDRAC Direct, and status LED for iDRAC Direct.
Your system supports power button, system ID button, and system health indicator.
Removing the control panel module
Prerequisites

This is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU). Removal and installation procedures should be performed only by Dell certified
service technicians.

Remove the system top cover (front)
Steps
1
Hold and pull the plastic pull tab to disconnect the control panel cable from the control panel module.

Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the control panel module to the chassis.

Lift the control panel module away from the chassis.
