Alice’s Paperless Desk 

9.3 Alarm 

Calendar 

The 

Alarm Calendar 

Screen (shown below) is used to automatically display a pre-entered 

message at the set time and date.  The messages are automatically sorted according to time 
and date. 

To enter the Alarm Calendar 

Press the 

Alice

 hot key and from the 

Alice Main

 menu press Alt+2 (on the numeric keypad).  A 

sample screen is illustrated below.

Use TAB and Up/Down arrow keys to move the cursor.   Press ENTER to update. 
HOT Key - Exit.   ALT 0 - Return to Main Menu.   ALT D - Delete entry.

To enable the Alarm Calendar 

Enter the correct time and date each time you turn 
on the workstation so that pre-entered messages 
will be displayed. 
 

To customize the display 

If in Alice’s Setup Screen, 

Private 

was enabled, then 

only “You have a message” will be displayed at the 
pre-entered time to protect the user’s privacy. 

If in Alice’s Setup Screen, 

Pop 

was disabled, then 

the messages will not be displayed. 
 

To disable the Alarm Calendar 
operation: 

Respond to the date and time request by pressing 
Enter.  

You can cancel the ‘Date and Time’ request in 
Alice’s Setup Screen. 

To enter a message 

1.  Enter your three-digit Logic Lock password (if that feature was enabled).
