Installing a Server System

Chapter Overview

Introduction

If your system is configured as a server, see the installation
instructions in this chapter. For a workstation configuration, see
Chapter 3. Your DEC 3000 Model 800S AXP server is designed
to be installed quickly and easily. The information in this
chapter explains how to install the server system and how to
prepare it for startup. Starting your server system is explained
in Chapter 6.
