Note: The unit conversion is only used in communicating with the CAL3K.
We know that the KBTU/lb is not conventional, but they fit nicely in to the display format.
23 FIBRE IN FOOD % 1
This percent (of mass) entry is used to reduce the result by the percentage multiplied with the FIBRE CV
VALUE, CMD=25. This fibre adjustment is NOT used during a calibration.
24 BALANCE SPEED 0
The balance must have the same setup as the CAL3K. The setting is:
Parity
None
Stop bits
1
Data
8 bit
Default Speed 2400
The speed in the CAL3K can be adjusted from 1200 to 38400 baud.
25 FIBRE CV VALUE 1
The Fibre CV value is used during food analysis the default is 16.736KJ/g. Unit conversion is active.
26 AVERAGE ACCEPT. 1
The entered value should follow the following grading guide:
Value
Means
0.012
Excellent
0.024
Good
0.048
Acceptable
0.096
Poor
0.192
Bad! Calibrate
A ‘ZERO’ entry (Default) disables the acceptance check.
27
DELETE CAL ABOVE
1
The is a test command. It deletes calibrations above the set limit.
28 GELATINE CAPSULE 0
A YES/NO entry enables/disables the use of gelatine capsule temperature deduction.
Note that the ‘
GELATINE CAPSULE
’ enable setting is retained after each sample. If a sample without a
capsule is burned then the capsule compensation must be disabled (CMD=28, NO)
In the ‘EASY SPIKE’ method the Capsule Rise value (CMD=29) is deducted from the measured
temperature rise ( Capsule) before the result is calculated.
