A Max. Compensation of 0.05C results in approx. 0.1KJ/g which is just about acceptable.

AVERAGE CALIBRATION
DO NOT USE IT!
The averaging of calibrations is a historical requirement. It was left in operation so that we can claim we
have it. The AI calibration process dynamically performs a ‘sort off’ average by looking at ALL
calibrations.
The unit select the ‘BEST FIT’ calibration for use with a sample. If average calibration is enabled by
setting it to a number higher than ZERO, then the next ‘BEST FIT’ calibrations are averaged and used for
the determination. The Bomb Factors (Heat Capacity) are averaged and used for this operation.
32 AVERAGE CALIBR. 1
The average calibration makes sense if you have more than 4 calibrations stored, because the AI (Artificial
Intelligence) selection process needs to check that the calibrations are acceptable. The acceptance
window is specified with:
26 AVERAGE ACCEPT. 1
The entered value should follow the following grading guide:

0.012

0.024

0.048

0.096
Poor
0.192
Bad! Calibrate
A ‘ZERO’ entry (Default) disables the acceptance check. A practical example:
Average calibration: 2
Average acceptance: 0.024
Then the average will be performed with THREE calibrations if all are excellent to go.
